AcroLexic allows you to find acronyms' definition easily and fast.

You can use incremental search or quick search (using shortcuts).

Incremental Search

Incremental search starts to sort out the database as soon as you type the first characters of the acronym (when you type the first letters all records starting with string entered are displayed in the top of the list).

You can navigate the acronym list using scrolling bar at the right part of the main program window or scrolling on your mouse or "Up" and "Down" arrows on your keyboard.

When the acronym is found, you can see its meaning double-clicking it or pressing "Enter" key.

The search results will be shown in the definition window:

Quick Search

Quick search option allows you to find the definition of the selected acronym. I.e. you can select the acronym in any other software and press the hot key, which can be adjusted at the Settings window and the acronym's definitions will be instantly shown in the definition window:

AcroLexic allows you to enlarge the acronyms database with new acronyms and definition for them.
You can add, edit or delete acronyms and definitions for them in the Manage Custom Acronyms window.

To open Manage Custom Acronyms window select menu Custom > Manage:
